Listening in media

IN various forms of media, a person can decide to listen to the sounds that are being made. Most media in the modern era has sounds attached to them. The way a person decides to react to what they hear can vary in the different forms of media that are being presented.

In visual media

In visual media such as television, movies, news, and other media viewed by the eyes, sound is being produced from the acts being portrayed. In these forms of media a person can decide whether they want to really immerse themselves in the media they watch.

A reason for why a person would listen to what they watch can be from the context and media they see. An example would be a favorite TV show or informational documentary. From a learning opportunity a person can decide to listen to what they see and understand and learn from that media.

In audio media

In audio media such as music or audio presentations, sound is being given without visuals. For some music or audio books are a background source of sound for them to hear, but for others it is an artform for them to partake in and listen to. For complex and intricate albums and music, a person needs to immerse themselves in the music and listen to what is being played.

Why a person decides to listen

The main reason why a person decides to listen is to involve themselves into what they are hearing. For people that really care about what they are hearing they decide to further hear and listen to the sounds that are being inserted into their ears.

In other forms of listening a person can decide to partake in, a person can decide the reason for why they listen.
